How much does it cost?
Cost is $10 per class – for everyone – all ages

What do I wear?
Wear joggers or flat-soled shoes.  Light, comfy workout clothing that you can sweat in

What do I bring with me?
Bring water and a towel

Is there an age limit?
We have students from 12 years to 70 years of age

Do I have to be fit?
No.  The best thing about Zumba® is that you go at your own pace.  You must listen to your body and extend yourself as much as you are able.  The more you attend, the fitter you will get and the further you will be able to extend yourself.

Is there child care available?
We have childcare available on Tuesday evening class at Brighton at a cost of $1/child. This is only available in the Summer months.

What if I have an existing medical condition?
Always check with your Doctor if you are concerned, however, generally working at your own pace and listening to your body are the keys to success. Do not do anything that hurts – if it causes you pain, do not do it. Always ensure that you advise your Instructor before class of any medical alerts – their job is to keep an eye on your progress and they are professionals.

Can I Zumba if I am pregnant?
The general rule is that if you were doing an exercise program before falling pregnant it is safe to continue with this same program throughout the pregnancy. However, you should check with your Doctor before commencing Zumba® if you have not done it before falling pregnant.

Can I stop during class if I find it too hard?
Of course! It is best to try to keep moving even if you are not working to your full capacity. However, you are always able to sit out a track if you are uncomfortable. Work at your own pace.

Do I have to sign up for classes in advance?
No. Just arrive at class 10 minutes before start time in order to register and sign in, this way class can get started on time.

Are there any hidden costs or sign up fees?
No. You pay as you go. Every time you come to class you pay $10 and have your Rewards Card stamped. For regular visits you are rewarded by getting your 11th visit for free. If you do not attend class, there is no payment expected.

Can I get a 10 visit pass?
Yes. 10 visit passes are $80 up front, so that you receive your classes for only $8 each. Every time you come to class you present your Gold Card and it is stamped – no money is required as it has been paid for up front.
